ANZAC Activities

The group has been busy with ANZAC day activities in the last few days.

First up we had the Mascot ANZAC March on Sunday, the 23rd of April. Joeys, Cubs and Scouts joined the march, which started on King Street, and then proceeded down Botany Road to Mascot Memorial Park. There we attended the ANZAC service and payed our respects to ANZAC service people.

On Monday, the 24th of April, Scouts met at the hall for a sleep over. The next day they got up before dawn and travelled to Hyde park to join the Sydney Dawn Service.

On Tuesday, the 25th of April (ANZAC Day), Joeys, Cubs and Scouts went to Martin Place to distribute rosemary on behalf of Legacy. They also collected donations for Legacy through cash or tap and go readers. The Joeys, Cubs and Scouts did very well on the day talking to strangers and handing out sprigs of rosemary.

Thanks to everyone who attended.
