Group Support Committee
The Group Support Committee is responsible for supporting the delivery of Scouting to the youth members. It is comprised of parent volunteers in a number of roles. No Scouting experience is needed to take on a position. The Committee works in conjunction with the Group Leader to manage funding of the group, equipment purchases, hall maintenance and as oversight for the Leaders. They meet once a term.
The Chairperson leads and manages the committee and chairs the meetings. They also liaise between the Leaders, parents and the community.
The Secretary takes and distributes meeting minutes, deals with correspondence and keeps the records of the committee.
The Treasurer is responsible for the Group's finances. They oversee purchases, make payments, give receipts and keep the financial records of the Group.
